The goal of this project was to update the ICB-LERMPS laboratory website by making it more attractive and modern, while aligning it with the graphic identity of the parent ICB laboratory.

Implementation of the new website

Since the old site was outdated, I decided to completely redesign it, keeping only some content and a few images.

To take up the initial challenge, I started by modernizing the existing site’s colors. I created a new style guide based on the color blue. This color is more dynamic and it is also used in most laboratory websites, including the parent ICB laboratory’s website.
Then, I focused on designing the elements of the website. To modernize them, I added rounded corners to each element and overlapping shades of blue.

The website integration was made using Elementor Pro on WordPress. I started by setting the general parameters, such as typography, colors, and the logo. Then, I created the site’s header and footer based on my mockup. I imported all the images I needed into the new website. The pages were integrated in the order of the navigation menu, starting with the home page. Finally, I worked on the site’s SEO, using existing meta tags and adapting them as needed.
